My man Thijs AKA Saul Good recently made me aware of a talented young Belgian named Selah Sue. She’s a psychology student but also a singer and he described her style as a combination of Édith Piaf and Lauren Hill. (I think that’s what he said). He sent me the clip above and the one below, both of which I think are pretty cool.

I’m a little uncomfortable with the growing AmyWinehouseJossStoneAdeleism over here, so I think it’s only right to recognize the original tracks from the medley above. I think/hope Selah Sue would understand that it’s not a diss.
